One of our local schools is already back in session. The library summer reading programs, swimming pools and other outdoor play places are starting to wind down, while our fall sports, library story-times and events are ramping up. It's a great transition time! Be sure to check out the Back-to-School Guide if you still need supplies and to find important dates.
We are working feverishly to get ready for the Clintonville Fall Frenzy. It's hard to believe it's only a month away! Don't forget about the Bear Creek Kraut Run too. A bike raffle is offered for the kids that participate. My daughter was the fastest girl two years ago (the last year it was held.) Can your child beat her time? (All 3 girls did the 1/4 mile fun run). All abilities are welcome. Strollers are welcome too. If you've never entered a 5K, this one would be a good one to start with. The organizers are incredible and it's honestly just a fun day. It's super easy to sign up. Here are some hints and tips if this is your first time or your first time with littles.

Back-to-School is also a great time to look at the home library. Who remembers the Garbage Pail Kids from when we were younger? (Shh, I may have just dated myself, assuming the age of my kids didn't already. ). Check out this awesome giveaway.
