It's hard to believe that this is the last newsletter before Fall Frenzy weekend! It's also the last weekend for car seat checks until October! This is also Shawano Ambulance's open house! If you want to sign up for the first-ever Fall Frenzy 5K - there is still time to sign up or if you'd like to volunteer or sponsor a middle school Fearless Female or Wise Guy. This is also our local pumpkin farms Fall Kick-off events!
On the 25th, set aside some time- there are three (3) fairs within 20 miles! Check out the Clintonville Fall Frenzy (I'll be there in a booth - I have a few surprises in mind AND I have contactless options available so you can still get your take-n-make craft choice.) Then just down the road at Cruise-In in Marion - check out their Fall Craft Fair and check out my favorite vendor: Kruzickis Kemo Kritters. Then, just a hop, skip, and a jump down the road, you'll be able to check out Tigerton's Apple Fest. I'd make sure to bring your camera. I'm noticing some fall colors already! (Hint: That camera might also come in handy for one of the surprises I have in store for visitors to my booth.)
On the 23rd, the Bear Creek First Responders will be hosting Oak Creek Police Department Captain Mike Bolender for Active Shooter Training. There are still a few seats available, so register while you can.
Plan Ahead Events:
Let Clintonville Ambulance take care of supper on Oct 6 with a delicious spaghetti dinner. It will look a little different this year. It will be a drive-through event. Be sure to also stop by the Community Center for the Clintonville Utilities Open House! Clintonville Fire Dept will be hosting their fish fry on Oct 8 as well, details have not been released yet so keep checking back.
