School's Out

By Marie Vandenberg, Publisher/Editor Macaroni Kid Clintonville, WI November 23, 2021

Most of the time, we have a little heads up that the kids might have an extra day off.  There were more than a few parents that got a dreaded phone call this week.  “Good morning.  Kids in the following grades will need to be picked up as soon as you are able and will return to school on November 29.”  So, I know that this has turned Thanksgiving plans upside down, work schedules are getting rapidly adjusted.  So- I decided to help with some extra boredom busters.

I have several activities articles already on the website.  If you became a subscriber in March 2020 to current, you have received a copy of my fun craft guide as a thank you gift- with 40 fun ideas - including homemade gift ideas (there was a link in the Welcome e-mail). (If you didn’t get your copy or you subscribed prior to March 2020, you can fill out this form and I will make sure you get the bonus gift). But, this isn’t a typical vacation so I wanted to help add a few more tools in the toolbox for you.  So I headed over to our National publication: Babies and Toddlers and found a few more.
