St. Patrick's Day

Your Guide to All Things St Patty’s Day from local Parades, Restaurants, Recipes, Crafts and More

By Marie Vandenberg, Publisher/Editor Macaroni Kid Clintonville, WI March 13, 2021

The next few days are very special.  This is one of the few times where everyone believes in luck and magic- and hope for just a little of the leprechaun gold.  Almost everyone becomes Irish for a day to celebrate St. Patrick.  I heard on the radio a few days ago, that St. Patrick's favorite color was originally blue, but St. Patrick's Day celebrates green for the lush, green countryside that is Ireland and because it is believed that Leprechauns can't see the color green, saving from some of the Leprechauns' shenanigans.
