I know I've been saying this every year since my son was in 4K, but where did the year go? I'm seeing graduation pictures of friends' kids, 4K graduation pictures, and a few friends have already posted their "Last Day of School" Pictures. All the "stuff" that had been left at school is slowly making its way back home, one stuffed backpack load at a time, and the kids are dreaming of summer vacation plans. My youngest is currently dreaming of sandy beaches.
This weekend is also a time of reflection for those members of the military that didn't make it home. I truly hope that your family is able to take in one of the ceremonies that are happening on Monday, whether in-person or virtually. It's a great way to remember that our Freedom isn't Free.
