National Night Out is an annual event, started in 1984, to promote neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships.
Since then, millions of people in 16,000 communities have taken part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.
This year, National Night Out takes place in Shawano, Marion, Chase, Suring and Pulaski on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 2.

National Night Out events happening in 2022 include:
🎆 👟 Marion Family National Night Out & Fun and Color Run Bingo begins at 4:30, Fun Run 5:30, Food and Fun begin 6pm, Fireworks at Dusk
Shawano - 4th Annual National Night Out - Shawano 5p - 8p Theda Star 5pm (weather and medical calls permitting), Demonstrations from 6-7p
Chase - 2022 National Night Out 5p-8p Live demonstrations, raffles, food and fun
Suring - Suring National Night Out 6p -8p
Pulaski - National Night Out 6p -9p
