1. Celebrate Día de Muertos

Drago for a free and virtual read-aloud hosted by Crayola of Gustavo, the Shy Ghost, an offbeat and sweet story about loneliness, bravery, and friendship. Then grab your art tools to draw Gustavo and symbols important to Mexican culture during Day of the Dead celebrations. Thursday, Oct. 26

2. Learn About Legendary Monsters, Then Design Your Own

Humans have been creating imaginary monsters for thousands of years. Some of them are terrifying creatures while others are bringers of good fortune. Join educators from the Penn Museum in a free and virtual event to learn about ancient monsters from across the globe, identify the real-world animals that inspired them, and then design your own monsters. 3. Celebrate National Make a Difference Day

If you needed an excuse to make someone's day brighter, then you have it! National Make a Difference Day is a great time to  show your children the power of small gestures, like donating their gently-used toys or drawing a picture for a neighbor. 4. Get the Wiggles Out with a Halloween Storytime 🎃
