Description
Come and explore the grounds of Navarino Wildlife Area around the Nature Center to celebrate Earth Day for the whole week.
Different trails will have different themes to them that make them interactive and fun! Our Blue Trail will feature mammals, Prairie Loop will feature birds, and our Forest Loop will let you practice your tree ID! Plus there is our Nature Playscape to play in, and the boardwalk to see all the wetland creatures in the water.
In addition, if you come during the Nature Center hours (Tuesday - Saturday), young explorers can ask for a free kit (1 per child) filled with a variety of items to help celebrate Earth Day. Kits available starting April 20th!
This is a free event, but the explorer kits are limited in quantity and are ONLY available during Nature Center hours. The trails are open 24/7. There are donation canisters located in the parking lots if you wish to make a donation to help offset costs.
So get out of the house and celebrate Earth Day for the whole week at Navarino Wildlife Area!
